What we process and why

Photos of your pets and generated results: to create and show the result and let you share it (performance of contract). We remove metadata such as the location from photos. An AI automatically checks whether a photo shows a dog or a cat; this is not a decision with legal effects.

An anonymous identifier in a cookie: keeps your previews and credits without an account. A second cookie remembers your chosen language. Both are strictly necessary for the service.

Email and payment details: to process your payment and send you the link to restore your credits (performance of contract, accounting and tax obligations). Only Stripe sees your card number, we do not.

IP address and technical logs, Cloudflare Turnstile check: protection against abuse and bots (legitimate interest).

Anonymous usage statistics (which steps in the app were completed, which campaign someone came from): to improve the service (legitimate interest).

Ad measurement (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel): only with your consent from the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time via the Cookies link in the footer.

Who receives data

Processors: Google (Gemini API, image generation; under the paid API terms Google does not use your photos to improve its products), Supabase (database and storage, Frankfurt), Vercel (hosting, Frankfurt), Resend (email, Ireland), Cloudflare (bot protection). Stripe processes payments as an independent controller. Meta and TikTok only with your consent.

Some of them are US companies; transfers outside the EU rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

Photos and results for up to 12 months after creation, photos from invitations to friends for 30 days, then we delete them automatically. The identifier and credits for as long as you can use the credits. Payment records for the period required by accounting and tax law (up to 10 years).

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, the right to object and to withdraw consent at any time. Just write to mixmypet@gmail.com. You can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country or with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
